    What to expect

From inquiry to consult, the rhythm.

    1. Step 1
      Within 24 hours

Your inquiry is reviewed by the office. If the matter is a fit, a scheduling reply is sent.

    2. Step 2
      Within 72 hours

A consultation time is confirmed; an invoice or Venmo request is sent for the $525 fee.

    3. Step 3
      Before the meeting

You receive a short prep note, what to bring, what to think about, no homework.

    4. Step 4
      During the hour

Substantive review of your matter, not a sales call. You leave with clarity on options and next steps.

    What this will do
    • Give a candid, attorney read on your specific situation.
    • Map the realistic range of outcomes under Connecticut law.
    • Outline the next 30, 60, 90 days, concrete, in order.
    • Answer the questions you've been holding on to.
    • End with a clear recommendation on next step (representation, mediation, or none yet).
    What this won't do
    • Create an attorney-client relationship (that's a separate engagement letter).
    • Be a sales call, there is no pitch.
    • Substitute for a full case strategy meeting if the matter is already active.
    • Provide advice to both spouses jointly (Mediation Assessment is the exception).

Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information when requesting a consultation. Submitting a scheduling request does not create an attorney-client relationship with Galbo Family Law, LLC. An attorney-client relationship is formed only by a written engagement agreement after a conflicts check and the consultation itself. Consultations are conducted in English.
