3.1 Consent Collection
We obtain express written consent before sending any SMS/text messages. Consent is collected through clearly labeled, unchecked opt-in checkboxes on our website forms. Where you must affirmatively check a consent checkbox to opt in, checkboxes are never pre-checked; you must actively check the box to receive messages from Galbo Family Law, LLC.
3.2 SMS Message Categories
You may opt in to one or both categories independently on separate checkboxes. Marketing and non-marketing consent are separate. You do not need to consent to marketing messages in order to use our services. Marketing consent is optional.
3.3 Message Frequency & Sending Hours
Message and data rates may apply. For questions about your text or data plan, contact your wireless provider.
- Marketing messages: up to approximately 4 messages per month.
- Non-marketing messages: frequency varies based on your appointment schedule and active matter (typically a small number of messages per week during active representation).
- Sending hours: messages are sent between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM local time only, except in time-sensitive case scenarios.
3.4 Opt-Out Instructions
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to 203-943-1583. After you send "STOP", a confirmation message will be sent and no further messages will be delivered unless you re-opt-in through our website.
3.5 Help & Support
