Messaging Terms

Galbo Family Law, LLC SMS Messaging Program: By opting in to receive text messages from Galbo Family Law, LLC, you agree to the following terms:

• Non-marketing messages include appointment confirmations, reminders, intake follow-ups, document/information requests, and case status updates.
• Marketing messages include occasional firm updates and educational content.
• Only users who have opted in will receive messages.
• All messages will be sent only to users who have provided explicit consent via opt-in checkboxes.
• Consent is not a condition of retaining the firm or accessing services.

Opt-Out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to 203-943-1583. After you send "STOP", a confirmation message will be sent and no further messages will be delivered unless you re-opt-in through any opt-in point on our website.

Message Frequency & Rates

Message & data rates may apply.

• Marketing messages: Up to approximately 4 per month.
• Non-marketing messages: Frequency varies based on your active matter.

Carrier Liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Consent & Opt-In

Users can opt in separately for marketing and non-marketing messages using two distinct checkboxes on our forms. You do not have to agree to receive marketing messages in order to submit a form or use our services. Marketing consent is optional.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services or opt in to our SMS messaging programs. We do not knowingly collect personal information or send messages to individuals under the age of 18.

General Terms of Service

An attorney-client relationship is formed only by a written engagement agreement signed by both you and the firm. Information on this website is general and is not legal advice.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Site, without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms of Service or engaged in conduct that we deem inappropriate or unlawful.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration or in the courts of the State of Connecticut.
